surrounded by over 800 acres of private property. The perfect retreat
- private setting - for quiet reflection or a base from which to explore.
Relax and enjoy the sounds of forest birds, amphibians, tree crickets,
howling coyotes, barking fox and the babbling water. The elevated
10' x 34' deck overlooking the forest and stream has a 10' x 22'
section under roof allowing "outdoor" time even on rainy days you
can enjoy the gas grill and have picnic on the porch.
The Great Allegheny Passage Bike Trail runs through property adjacent to the farm as does the Casselman River. We are near Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob, Ohiopyle State Park, Yough Lake Recreation Area and Seven Springs. Within 18 miles of the farm (as the crow flies) there are over 180,000 acres of public lands, 4 State
Parks, 4 Unique Natural Areas, 5 Lakes open to public fishing, 3 Important Bird Areas, 5 Important Mammal Areas, 6 State Game Lands, 3 covered bridges and some
of the best trout fishing waters in the Eastern U.S. In addition, there are restaurants, antique shops, a 'country-style' hardware store, bike shops, wineries, and the
Confluence Creative Arts Center nearby.
